Love in a Ghost Town | Las Vegas Engagement Photographer
Finding a big yellow bus in a desert ghost town was the perfect backdrop for this couple announcing their engagement. George works in security, and Emily is a school teacher in the Clark County School District.
Emily & George are big fans of baseball, so it's especially romantic that they met at the ball field. Of course we had to incorporate their favorite teams into their engagement shoot. The Arizona Diamondbacks old team colors were teal & purple, so this vintage truck was a wonderfully lucky find!
You can see by how they look at each other, just how in love they truly are. Sparks everywhere with this gorgeous pair!
Since both are Las Vegas transplants, we had to incorporate a little "Old West" into their portrait session to celebrate their upcoming Las Vegas wedding. The rustic, old buildings at Nelson's Landing were everything we could have hoped for. It's no wonder why movies were filmed here, it's such a fun out-of-the-way spot to visit.
Our Old-Western version of the famous American Gothic. I grew up fifteen miles away where the iconic house sits, so this comical take really made us girls happy. George was so sweet to tolerate our fun ideas.
Who could resist the plane crash film set just across the road - so much texture! Someone's creations left in the desert sun to rust, now just a fun spot to cross off the bucket list. Love on a movie set.
As the sun sets on our lovely day in the desert, I am reminded just how perfect George & Emily are for each other. So much love here, such a sweet beginning to a long & happy life together. Congratulations on your engagement, and thank you for letting Dana Duffield Photography capture these lovely memories with you!
